 Boundaries

Wikipedia says boundaries are guidelines, rules or limits that a person creates to identify for him - or herself - what are reasonable, safe and permissible ways for other people to behave around him or her and how he or she will respond when someone steps outside those limits.    Personal boundaries identify you as an individual.  They are statements of what you will or won't do, what you like and don't like .. how close someone can get to you.  Sometimes, there's a price you pay for setting up boundaries.

I set up my boundaries.  I am good.   Debi ~

  1. Hi Debi!

Boundaries make me feel safe! And on a farm as big as yours, I would be afraid of a lot of the big critters.

Thanks so much for stopping by. I love your comments!

  2. I don't think I have boundaries. I'll say or do just about anything that's legal. I'm not saying that's a good thing. I think I need to find some of those boundary things for myself, got any extras lying around that you can send my way?

  3. Beautiful shot. We live on a boundary road so our boundaries are tested often on the farm. In life I don't dwell to much on boundaries I try to be a good person, help others as you would like to be treated and enjoy my life with out to much restriction. Nice post. B

  4. What a very interesting post, we all have boundaries but that doesn’t mean we always know what they are.

  5. I agree, having boundaries are important for protecting your body, mind, and spirit and I think a step in taking control of your life. I also think it's needed to help create the kind of life you really want....I have set boundaries too! :-)
