Please let tomorrow morning be a tinsy bit cooler
so I can just relax a little with a cup of something
I don't know yet what I will want ~ either good coffee or green tea.
I want to just sit. I want to think of nothing. I don't want to be rushed.
I don't want anyone to call my name. I don't want a horse to neigh or a dog to beg for attention.
I don't want to have to figure it out.
I want a chair like that to chill in too.
ReplyDeleteI hope that works out for you.
ReplyDeleteMan do I feel your want! I hope your wishes come true!
ReplyDeleteHugs!

Hope you have a peaceful morning.... but no neighing? :)
ReplyDelete3 Jack Russells!! Oh my, you must have one busy house!
Nothing wrong with those wishes. I hope you are able to get a bit of rest and relaxation in sitting there on your lovely porch in that wonderful Adirondack chair. Love the color of it too.

Girl..I know what you mean..just one hour..
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't mind one of those chairs and some cooler weather right about now!
ReplyDeleteHope you get your peace and quiet for a little while. Enjoy it, it never lasts long.
ReplyDeleteThat does sound nice.
ReplyDeleteYes, how did that work out for you? ;) I sat in my Adirondack this morning with the goose as my coffee-drinking companion. It wasn't a quiet time. There's a nice story to go along with that, but I'll save it for later.. lol. Love that red chair!! -Tammy
ReplyDeleteLooks like a beautiful place to sit and ponder!
ReplyDeleteMmmm.... that chair is beckoning - wouldn't it be lovely to sit there and read, all day!!
ReplyDeleteThe best moments I have spent have been sitting on a porch in a chair just like this.
ReplyDeleteI hope you're enjoying your weekend!
You captured my sentiments exactly!
ReplyDeleteHere's hoping your perfect weather is on its way!
ReplyDeleteOh, I hear you ... to have no one needing, wanting anything ... just your own time to pause!
ReplyDeleteLovin' that chair!
I do love those chairs. They have a special way of fitting people, no matter their size and the big plus is the arms can hold a drink!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy!
My comment is a bit late, but I hope you did get the peaceful time you were hoping for. Oh yeah I just spotted your new header too, it’s good I like the mix of photos all put together very nice indeed.
